Operating 24/7, Choice’s Global Logistics Center (GLC) is the hub of the operation, housing the Client Support team, the Call Center, the Control Desk, the Inventory Control group, and Field Services. Choice’s comprehensive real-time IT system integrates the entire operation, including the remote SSL and RDC locations, to effectively manage client inventory assets throughout the service supply chain.

Call Center
All client orders, received via phone, fax, online entry, and EDI/XML link, are handled by the Global Call Center. The Global Call Center processes orders, confirms receipt with the SSL network, and communicates any special delivery instructions.
Control Desk
The “eyes and ears” of the operation, tracking all expedited shipments for on-time pick-up and delivery. The Control Desk monitors deliveries and communicates, escalates and resolves issues as required
Inventory Control
Dedicated to ensuring inventory accuracy for every client, the Inventory Control group conducts the weekly cycle counts and physical inventories.
Field Services
Enforces Choice’s strict SSL operating procedures and proactively manages the worldwide network by performing site audits, management reviews, and monthly measurements. Field Services team members work with the SSLs to evaluate expansion and technology improvement opportunities as well as resolve performance issues.
