Position Overview

The Operations Support Specialist Lead is responsible for driving daily processes and performance execution of the Ops Support team. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, this individual oversees day to day activity of the team including managing, reporting, and investigating inventory inquires to ensure Choice Logistics meets client requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Function as a liaison with clients and the vendors to ensure continuity between client expectations and vendor performance
  • Build and develop strong comprehensive relationships both internally across operations and client services and externally with clients
  • Manage the daily communications between the clients, Ops Support Americas staff, and vendors to ensure operational excellence
  • Update Choice procedures and/or operating systems to adhere to changing client requirements
  • Owns the strategic communication cadence with Ops Support Americas staff and vendors that emphasizes alignment, performance, management and solutions delivery
  • Create a proactive approach to client issues, being aware and creating a resolution prior to client escalations
  • Weekly reporting for both the clients and vendors (OPD, DTS, MIR, CCs, PIs, parts in suspend, etc)
  • Update Choice procedures and/or operating systems and reporting tools to adhere to changing client requirements
  • Proactively review re-occurring failures with Subject Matter Experts within Choice and develop corrective actions in coordination with the Manager Operations Support-Americas and Field Service Managers
  • Identify IT enhancements opportunities between clients, vendors, and Choice
Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 + Years of Logistics/Supply Chain Experience
  • Deep understanding and in-depth knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Industry
  • 2+ Years of Customer Facing Experience
  • Exceptional Interpersonal, Written, and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office
