Position Overview
The Procurement Analyst will play a key role in Choice’s newly formed Procurement Team, providing day to day support to Choice Operations, Finance, and Legal teams. The Procurement Analyst will provide on going analysis related to profitability and current economics of the global vendor network to support operations strategy. In addition, the Analyst will prepare and provide operational metrics and analysis to support the Choice operations team. The analyst will also support the contract execution, implementation and invoicing process. On an on going basis the Procurement Analysis will ensure vendor compliance, as it relates to contract pricing and invoicing.
Job Responsibilities
- Day to day management of vendor road map, including financial, operational, and relationship metrics
- Prepare and analyze reporting and metrics related to the economics and profitability of the Choice vendor network
- Support the end to end process related to new vendor implementations (economic evaluation, contract execution, system data flow, vendor invoicing compliance)
- Support Senior Procurement Manager with decisions related to profitability of current vendor network or existing pricing amendments
- Manage on going vendor contract and invoicing compliance
- Develop strong cross functional working relationships with operations, finance and legal
Skills/Qualifications
- B.S. in Supply Chain, Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate procurement or FP&A roles
- Experience in vendor compliance and relationship management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Strong project management skills
