Position Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end Sales process specific to their account portfolio, becoming intimately familiar with all of Choices business offerings.  As a contributor to the Sales efforts, this individual is responsible for partnering with internal teams, most notably Enterprise Solutions and for supporting and onboarding new client as well as new business with existing clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Research companies and contact leads within targeted industries through various tools, including but not limited to business social media platforms
  • Develop and build out a defined pipeline of opportunities primarily through new logos, increasing our market share
  • Responsible for the end-to-end sales engagement, including RFX and non-RFX response proposals, incorporating the necessary company stakeholders required to complete all requirements as outlined by the specific targeted customers
  • Maintain regular communications with all prospects through acceptable business social media platforms while documenting in
  • Increase sales by preparing and delivering clear and persuasive PowerPoint presentations
  • Understand client operating conditions and make recommendations to increase client engagement
  • Develop and propose tactics to secure and grow business
  • Effectively manage individual opportunity pipeline and all sales related activities to progress that pipeline
    • Solicit and grow existing client account by identifying and securing additional opportunities throughout the life of the contract
  • Continue to be well-versed in Choice’s total offerings and services available to clients
  • Contribute to strategies that identify market and new business opportunities
  • Recommend business development strategies and improvements
  • 3-5 years of sales and client facing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • 3+ years of Supply Chain & Logistics experience, not necessary but preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in aggressively growing a territory
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong Analytical and Negotiating skills
  • Superior customer service skills required, including focus on customer needs and customer relationship management
  • Comfortable with over 25%-50% travel
