Position Overview

The TMS Client Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support of a client for all Transportation Management activities.  The TMS Client Analyst will liaise directly with the client and Choice internal IT and Operational personnel with regards to system functionality, operational process, and performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or be an active participant in client meetings regarding TMS support/operations
  • Ensure Choice TMS system functionality is operating in-line with the client requirements
  • Review, evaluate, test, implement and monitor all client Business Rules requested by the client
  • Manage client rates maintained in the Choice system
  • Research and resolve all client TMS related inquiries
  • Create and present KPI data for QBRs and monthly KPI performance reviews
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting when required
  • Review carrier performance per lane segment to ensure carriers with best performance are being utilized
  • Review client spend for unexpected spikes and address accordingly
  • Work with other Choice departments, SSL vendors and Next Business Day carriers in support of research and resolving operational issues
  • Lead efforts to identify and implement continuous improvement processes that result in lower operational costs
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
