Position Overview
This individual reports to the Director, Global Trade Solutions (“GTS”) to support all aspects of client specific global trade and partner management. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and ability to be client facing.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a client facing point of contact for GTS program management often working directly with assigned clients to identify emerging needs, address areas of concern, and align on any existing operational areas for improvements
- Structure and organize client program deliverables through maintenance of individual client project trackers
- Support individual client post-entry client program
- Assist with the on-going management of global network of service providers to ensure overall service capabilities match client needs
- Assist with procurement of new in-country service partners
- Conduct required research with regards to import and export regulations, including new and updated product compliance issues
- Develop and maintain Country Guidance documents to ensure (i) up to date with information required for shipping documents and (ii) regulatory requirements and compliance process are accurate and current
- Qualification of trade partners during sourcing process
- Support live order escalations
- Support Choice audit requirements
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of customs/international trade compliance experience
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, Excel
- CRM tools a plus
- 3+ years of Project Management Experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities at once
- Exceptional Interpersonal, Written, and Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently, and collaborate cross-departmentally on a regular basis
